The Honda CMX500 Rebel, introduced in 2017, was designed to appeal to younger riders as more than just a mode of transport—it was a statement of lifestyle and individuality. With its classic bobber styling mixed with modern details, the Rebel quickly became popular and dominated the custom bike segment in Europe from 2021 to 2023. Its accessible design made it easy to ride and highly customizable, attracting a loyal following.
Building on this success, Honda introduced the CMX1100 Rebel in 2021, which retained the smaller model's appeal while adding performance, character, and advanced technology, appealing to riders looking for something unique. In 2023, the CMX1100T Rebel Touring version was launched, enhancing the model for long-distance travel. For 2025, the Rebel lineup is further upgraded with improved engine performance, comfort, and ergonomics, plus a new Special Edition CMX1100SE, which adds factory-customized style with Honda accessories, continuing the model's popularity across Europe.
The 25YM CMX1100 Rebel is a versatile motorcycle, ideal for both relaxed cruising and spirited rides on winding roads. It’s accessible for riders moving up from smaller bikes, thanks to manageable dimensions and weight, while experienced riders will appreciate its sturdy tubular steel frame, high-quality suspension, and strong braking performance.
The 25YM update enhances comfort with a more relaxed riding position, featuring rearward handlebars, forward footpegs, and a thicker seat, now at a low 710mm height. Its 1,084cc parallel-twin engine, shared with the CRF1100L Africa Twin, has been retuned for a stronger low- and mid-range punch and a richer exhaust note. It also includes Throttle By Wire (TBW) with customizable rider aids, offering three default riding modes, two user-defined modes, adjustable power delivery, engine braking, traction control, and optional Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) with improved low-speed response.
Stylistically, the Rebel 1100 is a modern bobber with minimalist design cues, including steel mudguards, LED lighting, and a 5-inch TFT display with customizable screens and Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. A USB-C port is now located on the left side.
The Honda CMX1100 Rebel offers extensive customization options with a range of Genuine Honda Accessories. For 2025, the Comfort Seats for rider and passenger have been redesigned, featuring a deeper, flatter profile for improved passenger comfort, along with a taller backrest with an optional brown pad.
Honda also offers three curated accessory packs:
Style Pack (available in two versions for the CMX1100 and CMX1100T): Enhances the Rebel’s custom look with items like a short front fender, headlight cowl (with extended windshield for CMX1100T), wheel stripes, tank pads, and additional features exclusive to the CMX1100, such as bar end mirrors and radiator covers.
Comfort Pack (available in black or brown): Focuses on comfort with a rear carrier, passenger backrest, and heated grips.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
