Boxhill has been a popular haunt for bikers for years. Not only is Boxhill like an evergreen haven not too far from London, but the 4-mile-long Zig Zag road is something you have to experience. As one of the summits of the North Downs, if you're also a fan of walking in nature, the sights from the viewpoints are breathtaking. There are also some great places to eat... Rykas (RH5 6BY) or Smith & Western (KT20 7LB).
If you have been riding in Kent, you're probably familiar with "Mickey's", formerly known as Bangers. The Detling Diner roadside cafe on Detling Hill serves cooked breakfasts and draws in plenty of other local bikers! Hang out with like-minded people, make new biker mates and head out for the day. (ME14 3HT)
The Route 1066 Café is another great biker cafe that has been around for a long time. Out the front, there is plenty of parking, and inside there is plenty to choose from on the menu. Sitting at the side of the A21, stop off for a bite to eat and head on to Hastings for the day. (TN32 5JH)
Our Kent Motorcycles showroom in Canterbury is home to the superb H's Café. Here we offer a fantastic selection of food including all-day breakfasts, our much-loved bacon rolls, lunchtime specials, and a great range of hot and cold drinks. We also offer vegetarian options and our high-quality products are all sourced locally. There are also some fantastic roads around that way! (CT4 6SA)
Goudhurst is a quaint village in Tunbridge Wells with some lovely local pubs. The roads around there can get a little tight at certain points, but ride safe and appreciate the twisties and the scenery. Driving past Bedgebury Forest, it'd be easy to forget you were still in the UK. Why not take a bimble to the coastal town of Rye for a coffee? The Quay is pretty popular! (TN31 7DA)
Not only is Canterbury a great place to visit, but the Canterbury Road (A252) offers a great journey full of straights and twisties through Charing. Over in Charing, there's also a bike night at the Red Lion, every Thursday 6pm - 9pm. (TN27 0AU)
If you're the type of biker who likes to stop off in a quaint little town and grab a coffee to then head off onto some great roads, then Tenterden is right up your street. Head into the town on the A28, and chuck a left at the last turn, joining the B2082. Watch our for horses! The Brunch & Brew is highly recommended... (TN30 6HP)
Join the A20 towards Ashford for some really good grub at the Airport Café (TN25 6DA). Don't be fooled when you arrive, it is not just a truck stop, it's a great quirky place to fuel up before heading to the coast. Follow the B2068 which will take you through Canterbury, and then welcome you to Whitstable.

Laguna Motorcycles Limited (which include multiple trading names: Laguna Motorcycles, Laguna Performance Centre, Laguna Triumph, Maidstone Honda, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Kent Motorcycles) is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Laguna Motorcycles Limited (which include multiple trading names: Laguna Motorcycles, Laguna Performance Centre, Laguna Triumph, Maidstone Honda, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Kent Motorcycles) to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a carefully selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. We act on behalf of the lender for this introduction and not as your agent. We are not impartial, and we are not an independent financial advisor.
Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.
Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required. Please see our complaints page for our complaints policiy and regulatory complaints.
