We understand that even with a previously cherished Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, the expectations in terms of quality and performance are sky-high, so we ensure that every Original has been rigorously checked and certified to earn the Originals mark.

At the core of every Harley-Davidson® Original, there's a story. Its story is written with rider adrenaline... from the ride-outs it has joined to how many heads it has turned riding down the street, amongst everything else.
The bike featured in the Originals journey below began with a 2015 FXDBC Street Bob LTD. The owner was part of a biker group that regularly met up for social gatherings. Keeping things real with no B.S., his Dyna chassis has no-nonsense, stripped-down Bobber styling and has been enhanced with Vance & Hines Shortshots and a Screamin' Eagle oval air cleaner - giving his bike that awesome boomy Harley® sound and feel. This bike takes part of its previous owner with it and its flame will continue to burn with its next owner.
The journey
It all starts with one Harley-Davidson® rider looking for their next chapter and their next adventure. Following an initial enquiry, customers will have a conversation with one of our sales advisors, to talk them through all the features of their Harley® that they are looking to sell to us. We love to know a bit about the history of the bike too - so we can share some of its history with future owners - what adventures have you had on your Harley®?!
Our appraisal is a quick and efficient way to record the condition of any vehicle. Taking lots into consideration such as history, rarity, market trends, mileage and space in the showroom! Following this appraisal we will let you know if your bike meets our criteria to purchase it from you.
After a successful appraisal has been completed, we take the bike into our workshop where one of our Harley-Davidson® mechanical experts can get their hands on it to give it a full and indepth review - continuing to take great care when handling the vehicle.
As part of the bike review, our engineers will look into the Harley-Davidson® Original from almost every angle, 120 angles to be precise. This can include but is not limited to, indicators, bearings, drive belts and tyre tread. Ticking off their checks as they go and recording any damage that may need repairing before bringing it back to sale.
Once the Harley® Original has been given the all-clear from our workshop grease monkies, it heads over to our cleaning station where it will undergo some TLC. Using the appropriate polish and cleaning materials, the bike is thoroughly cleaned from head to tail. It's almost ready...
Once the Original is gleaming, one of our awesome team members will take it to the showroom where it will find its temporary new home, ready to be priced up and labelled with all of its key features and enhancements.
Due to the high quialty of Harley-Davidson® Originals motorcycles, it will not take long before an Original's new owner takes it home to continue its journey.
