We truly believe that Triumph Motorcycles release some of the most innovative, advanced, performance-driven and accessible motorcycles in the industry. Don't believe us? Well, hear it from one of our very own team members, Kane Down, as he talks more about his ride - the Trident 660.
The Triumph Trident 660, released January 2021, has been accumulating excitement amongst riders worldwide ever since. Offering the iconic Triumph triple powered performance, class-leading technology and specification at an incredibly competitive price point.
Scroll down for words from Kane and the latest model specification...
"The handling is very similar to a Street Triple, reasonable turning circle and allows more than enough room for U-turning without having to do two or more point turns. The handling is quite nimble, allowing you to swerve if needs be - it's smooth and great for any situation you may find yourself in on the road. Oh and the self-cancelling indicators, what a blessing!"
"I think the engine is great, each gear is quite well balanced and the overall riding experience is engaging. You're equipped with enough power to have fun stopping & starting from traffic lights in addition to having enough overtaking power for those longer motorway journeys."
"I would say the Trident is comfortable, you could obviously go one further by adding heated grips say, or more additional comfort modifications. The seat height goes hand in hand with the bike's narrow shape giving a better neutral feeling as opposed to that sport bike lean forward or cruiser lean back position.
I often have the misses riding pillion and she seems to like it too - enough room for her and myself. The bike has quite good vibration reduction so it feels a bit smoother for people riding on the back too."
"Yep, I've done a few Triumph modifications like adding a flyscreen and a belly pan. I have also had a Zard exhaust put on. I like to hear my bike rumble so the exhaust helped make it more enjoyable for me. I also think it's added a little noticeable depth to my throttle response, it's definitely worth considering."
"I was looking into a few different bike categories at the time of purchase. My previous riding experience has always been sports bikes, so I had a subconscious lean towards them - however always noticed myself liking modern classics and naked bikes. I was looking at a few particular bikes, like the Suzuki GSXR600 and the Triumph Scrambler, Speed Twin and Trident (which had just been released). I was undecided as to whether go back to sports bikes until I took the Trident out on a demo and realised that was the bike for me - I bought it in Saphire Black."
"I would definitely recommend the Trident 660 to new riders. It's an easy bike to get started on. Easy mode handling, substantial power and nice tech features. Also, A2 licence holders... the Triumph 660 can be restricted to 35kW without losing its character or feel."
"I'm pretty happy with my bike for the time being but inevitably like most riders, will eventually want to move on. I'm thinking the Speed Twin next!"
The 660 triple engine delivers versatile performance, immaculate handling and top-end power. Producing an optimum thrill and lasting adrenaline buzz.

Laguna Motorcycles Limited (which include multiple trading names: Laguna Motorcycles, Laguna Performance Centre, Laguna Triumph, Maidstone Honda, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Kent Motorcycles) is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Laguna Motorcycles Limited (which include multiple trading names: Laguna Motorcycles, Laguna Performance Centre, Laguna Triumph, Maidstone Honda, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Kent Motorcycles) to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a carefully selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. We act on behalf of the lender for this introduction and not as your agent. We are not impartial, and we are not an independent financial advisor.
Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.
Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
